Holiday in Finale Ligu

If you choose to spend a holiday in Finale Ligure, you will immerse yourself in four beautiful villages that form the "Finalese", a strip of land bordered by a coastline of fine sand and the karstic plateau of Manie.

Finalmarina, animated by accommodation facilities, bathing establishments, shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants, runs along the coast with its Palm promenade. Piazza Vittorio Emanuele ll is the heart of Finalmarina, which has always been the protagonist and the place for events, shows, concerts and exhibitions.

Finalborgo was founded in the 12th century by the Marquises of the Carretto family and still today, with its elegant palaces, churches and ancient walls, it shows all the splendour of the Ancient Capital of the Marquisate of Finale, a prestigious designation maintained for more than three centuries. Finalborgo has received the important recognition of "Most beautiful villages in Italy" and is a popular destination for mountain biking, hiking and climbing enthusiasts.

Finalpia, built around the Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria di Pia, stretches along the sea in the eastern part of Finale Ligure. In Finalpia, where the houses have kept the original architecture of the sixteenth century, vast beaches mix with hilly landscapes, vines and olive trees, giving life to a unique setting.

Varigotti, the characteristic Saracen village born by the sea, and from the sea seduces with its houses on the beach, the so-called "Saracen houses", coloured with typical Ligurian warm colours, with a terrace and a single floor. Among alleys, small squares and the vast sandy coastline, Varigotti is the true pride of the Riviera delle Palme and has been a source of inspiration for famous twentieth-century writers and painters, such as Ernest Hemingway, who immortalized the charm of its alleys.
